Economical Gas Mileage and Lots of Room

Pros:  gas mileage; fun to drive; great look

Cons:  Sightlines a bit obstructed.

I initially was looking for an SUV from Ford but couldn't come to grips with the cost of the gas that would go into it.

My Ford dealer called me and said a used HHR had come in the night before and he thought I would love it. I'd never heard of the Chevy HHR but I took it for a test drive and thought the ride was smooth and fun. The space was very adequate for packing my college-age boy off to school.

The HHR gets great gas mileage with the space I need. I personally love the look too.
