Love my HHR

Date of Review:  Jun 10, 2007
Review: I had never seen an HHR til I went past one in a car lot, on my way to look at a white van. My eyes kept looking as I walked past and I said, over my shoulder, what is that?

I thought it was what a PT Cruiser could be. Bought it that day...

Long Live the Lead Sled

Date of Review:  Apr 3, 2006
The Bottom Line: With gas approaching $3.00 per gallon my HHR does almost everything my SUV did at a fraction of the price. Long live the Lead Sled!
Review: The HHR is one of those cars that is sure to evoke an opinion. You either love the style or hate it, but everyone is sure to look. Personally I love it. I think this car looks great from every angle. Too many cars today lack personality, the HHR...

DON'T BUY ONE!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!

Date of Review:  Oct 18, 2006
Review: I have had problems with my HHR since the first month. Had a floor board leak that took 6 trips to the dealer to get fixed. Fuel injection went berzerk on month 6. Now the brakes are shot. I'm on my 3rd brake job in 3 months. Had the rotors turned...

So far....so good!

Date of Review:  May 20, 2007
The Bottom Line: Final recommendation is buy it! If you can get used to the "little things" that to me personally don't make that much difference, I believe you will really like it!
Review: I traded my 4 X 4 pickup in because I needed to get better gas mileage. I'm on my first tank of gas and I have gotten about 258 miles to the first 1/2 tank!!! Needless to say I am impressed as all get out thus far! I just hope it stays that way...

Economical Gas Mileage and Lots of Room

Date of Review:  May 27, 2007
Review: I initially was looking for an SUV from Ford but couldn't come to grips with the cost of the gas that would go into it.

My Ford dealer called me and said a used HHR had come in the night before and he thought I would love it. I'd never...

Whoop Whoop!

Date of Review:  Nov 29, 2005
Review: Took delivery four days ago--loaded LT. Was going to buy a Hyundai Sonata for about the same price: $22,500 loaded. Funny: the Hy is made in Alabama, and the HHR in Mexico.
I've driven Accords and Camrys and the Hy is just the same with a...

Not for tall people, controls impossible to find

Date of Review:  Sep 7, 2006
The Bottom Line: Would not buy or recommend this for buying.
Review: I have not owned one of these, but my husband and I rented one for a couple of days on a trip we took to CA. It was horrible. The controls were put in places that were impossible to find. It took us 5 minutes to figure out how to open the hatchback...

Same car?

Date of Review:  Sep 16, 2006
The Bottom Line: Another sub-par GM product.. watching them sadly, slowly, die.
Review: This car is absolute rubbish. Reviewiers here who like it, have you driven any European or Japanese cars, ever? I have the misfortune to be renting one and impressions are bad. Styling is a matter of taste so I won't comment except to say the view...
