Pros: Its sleek and sporty, a great looking car

Cons: No room in the car, if u have a tall driver, backseat is out

The Bottom Line: Dont get it, it was stated to be the worst year to buy a Sebring, it will cause major problems

When i got my 96 Sebring, I got it in 97..I was thrilled! It looked great, leather seats, monster sound system, all the extras for a fair price. Then came the probmems. It got recalled 3 times, and it started falling apart. The speakers started crackling, the sunroof got stuck for no apparent reason. When my husband drove it, there was no room for the back seat for my son to ride. Its not good on long trips cause there is no room, it rides rough and has been eating up tired and break pads even after having everyone check it out. Now the car is leaking transmission fluid, the fuel line is leaking, the front end itsnt right, so when you get to 60mph the whole car starts shaking. Whats the point in having a car that registers 150mph when you cant go above 60? It was good for about a year then it went down hill fast and is costing a fortune to fix.
