East Side West Side: City for Conquest

The Bottom Line: A decent drama of NYC street people that go for their dreams. A great performance from James Cagney.

Cagney Punch-Up

The Bottom Line: A wonderful cast shows off life in NYC during the Depression and a chance for a great cast to show its talents.
Review: Once again, we get to see the incomparable Jimmy Cagney slug, literally and figuratively, his way through life in "City for Conquest."

This movie is as much about life in 1930s New York City as it is about the characters who struggle to...
