Nice for travel!

The Bottom Line: For the price it is worth purchasing this to keep the kids occupied.
I purchased this portable dvd player for my son after I had purchased a more expensive unit for my daughter. I found that although this was about $50 cheaper, it has all the features that the more expensive unit has.
This dvd player kept my kids entertained during our long trip to Florida, it was great! The picture quality is ok, I have to say the picture on the other is a little bit better but nothing that the kids even notice. It is easy to operate this system, I didn't even need to use the directions for it. My kids are able to use it without my help too. The screen size is suitable for kids sitting side by side, I wouldn't recommend for a larger car with two rows of back seats. For one I am not sure that the people sitting further away would be able to hear it and if the screen isn't angled just right they will not be able to see it well due to a glare.
This dvd player does come with the straps to attach it to the seat in front of it so there is no need to figure out how to secure it. Mine also came with a remote so you don't have to take it off the seat to make adjustments. There are also headphones if you don't want the driver to be disturbed by the noise. The headphones are of average quality, nothing to great. We ended up purchasing a better set for sound quality, not necessary but ours somehow got wet so we had to get a new set. The kids did notice better sound with the new set but I really don't think they would have known better if we hadn't had to get new ones.
The great thing about this dvd player is that the price has went down since I purchased mine. I have seen them on sale for $60.00! It is definitely worth that to keep your kids happy.
