Nice Heater

I originally purchased this heater for use in my car during the extremely cold days here in SD. If you live here you'd understand. I never know when I'll be getting off work so I really don't have a chance to start my car and let it run until it gets warm. And when I get off of work I really don't want to hang out there for another 15 minutes. I've looked at other heaters including electric, but really had no luck except for the small window defrosters which look like fuzz busters. Yeah those are great for defrosting the window, but for increasing the temp in your car, you'd probably need about 37 of them.

Anyways, this heater is much larger then I had imagined, it's about the size of a 20 pack of bud light. Don't get me wrong, this would be an awesome heater for your tent, or for emergencies in your house or car.. but really isn't the model I was looking for. I do like the electric start and optional fan, thats why I bought this model in the first place. The 16oz can of propane is supposed to last 8 hours @3000 btu's and the 2 D size batteries supposedly last 18 hours, which is pretty good for the amount of heat.

I would recommend this product for the outdoorsman, or for emergencies. But for the extra car warmth, I guess I'll have to go with the coleman power inverter combined with a 120v space heater.
