The Coolest Walker Ever

It's been almost a year since we purchased the Combi. My grandson (15 months) and both granddaughters (13 and 14 months) have outgrown the walker portion - but they still love to play with it. When the seat is folded down and pushed forward, it becomes a "car" the kids can push around the house. They love pushing the buttons to turn on the music and blow the horn. It has been used by 3 babies over the past year and still looks almost new. I would consider selling it - but I have another grandson due any day and it will be his next.


We purchased this walker for our 4 month old grandson. He's a bit young yet, but it was his Christmas present and we know he'll grow into it.
Imagine our surprise when we received the walker in only 3 days (thanks to the wonderful folks at ChitChat Baby!).
Taking it out of the box it looked like it might be a bit complicated to put together - at least to me. Hubby had no trouble at all, it went together in snap.
We were excited about the walker because our son (grandson's dad) had an adorable 4x4 replica walker when he was a baby and it seemed only fitting that the next generation should have something similar. When we read on-line about the many functions and adaptability of this one we just had to have it for him.
Our excitement only grew when we saw it in person. It's even cuter than the picture. The details are so realistic, down to the black leather seat with the red GT emblem. Taillights, headlights, a windshield and true racing stripes add to the charm.
As small as he is he can sit in it comfortably. The seat holds him securely and is nicely padded. When lowered and locked into walker mode he can actually reach the ground well enough to move it around, although right now the movement is more of a happy accident than a purposeful maneuver. With the lower bar moved into the center and the toy put in bounce mode he is tall enough to stand on the bar, but not yet strong enough to push the buttons with his feet to make the sounds. Grandma and Grandpa are more than willing to help with that. He loves the sound of small children laughing and gets so excited when he hears the engine racing. The steering wheel is perfectly sized for small hands. He can hold on to it and turn it easily. The horn in the center makes the cutest beep-beep, which he loves to do on his own. There are also four small buttons on the steering wheel that activate lights and music that he can operate himself. He is so enthralled with the buttons that he hasn't discovered the black and white soft toys/teethers on the arms. This toy is such a great find. I can see him enjoying it more and more as he grows.
