Quality products with great decorating ideas
Pros:
wonderful ideas with quality crafts you can purchase direct from crafter
Cons:
I don't feel it is necessary to buy every issue, there is a lot of repetition as the same crafters advertise month after month

Author's Review
I do crafting (for profit) and it seems that I am always on the look out for a new idea. I find that when ever I look at anything new anymore, I am either wondering if I should write a review on it, or if it is something I can use in my craft line.
I buy Country Sampler for inspiration and to see what is popular to the public. Crafting is a hard business and if you don't stay up with current color schemes and "fads", you will be left behind at the craft shows, and shops.
Country Sampler is read for the decorating ideas as well as the products that it offers to the reader.
The magazine is filled with photographs of country homes, creative country-style room settings, and quick and easy tips on country decorating, from a primitive look to the more modern country.
Thru out the magazine you will browse thru pages and pages of hand crafted gifts, available to you direct from the artisan who created the craft, or in some cases, artwork.
Each page contains one to four quality photographs with a detailed description of the featured item, including the price and also shipping cost.
To purchase a item you simply write a check or money order (or credit card if noted ) to the person listed underneath the photograph of the item you want. Often a phone number or web page is listed so you can obtain further information.
The magazine features finished products, however there are some "choice" patterns available, usually for woodworking crafts or for dolls.
The magazine also "features" select crafts (for sale) and use them in their decorating schemes. Many pages are devoted to a room arrangement that is made of completely by advertised crafts. It gives you the opportunity to see the craft in a more natural setting, but it also gives you scores of ideas of how to decorate your home if you are into the country or slightly primitive look.
Every issue of Country Magazine contains:

Reader's Letters....comments from the readers
