Crash Bash----Is it a "crash" or is it a "bash?"
Pros:
The game is a good party game, as the box/case suggests.
Cons:
The storyline to the game is weak.
The Bottom Line:
Puzzle lovers might ought to try this. Hardcore Crash Bandicoot players may not opt to buy this one, though.

There is one thing I have to say about that question. Whether Crash Bash is a crash or a bash to you depends completely upon what type of games you like. If you are expecting another platform-type game from the Crash Bandicoot series, then you are better off not getting this game. However, if you prefer puzzle-type games, that require quick hand-eye coordination, on a multi-player format, then this is the game for you.
Crash Bash has many different types of games, all the way from jumping on a pogo stick and coloring squares, to throwing boxes at your opponents to knock them out, to popping balloons to get points, to playing virtual CrossFire.
There are only 8 characters in the game, so you dont have a very large choice. One thing I do like about this game is the replay aspect. You can play this game over and over again, and it will retain its lustre (if you like puzzle games). The game does get progressively harder, and there are secret levels after you beat the first four warp rooms. There are also 3 gems that you must get in each "stage" in order to clear it, and sometimes to advance to the next warp room. Each of the tasks to get the three gems in each stage get progressively harder as well, so don't expect to finish them in 5 minutes.
Overall, if you like a puzzle-action style game with multi-level difficulty progression, I would get the game. But if you were looking for another Crash Bandicoot game like the original, you will be better off getting Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.
