Great machine; extremely difficult to clean

Have had several other food processors before, and comparatively, this is fantastic. Takes seconds (literally, about 2 seconds) to slice anything.

Powerful, relatively quiet, won't start until you have the bowl, lid AND pusher all lined up properly and locked into place. Fast and efficient.

BUT, for some reason Cuisinart made this one very difficult to clean. Why they built in all the little notches everywhere is beyond me. The lid for the work bowl has at least 30 little plastic tick marks (like a clock) all around, which require careful cleaning.

Worse yet is the top of the cover where the pusher goes in has two 2" wide vents supposedly to make cleaning easier. Instead I find food gets caught in there.

Worst of all is the Pusher assembly. You can't use either the wide or narrow, they both have to be in place. Each has the annoying little notches and decorative ribs where food gets caught. The Pusher spout is just slightly longer than the average finger, so you can't get anything but the most narrow brush in there to clean.

Being the 14-cup Food Processor none of my previous blades, discs, etc work with this one.

The photos all show it from the front, and really need a side photo with the springs that have to align up the narrow tube up the back. Also, this juts out a couple inches behind to accommodate the heavy motor. I knew it was going to be tall, but didn't know it would stick out quite so far on the counter under the cabinets.
