$25 Black and Decker was better

Got this toaster oven as a wedding gift. Had gone to Macy's and selected this one, dare I say, on looks and feel. It does appear to be a well built toaster oven, until you try to use it.

Just tonight I wrote Cuisinart about this random buzzing we've been getting with it. Sounds like a buzzing alarm clock going off. Happens when the oven is plugged in, but not in use. it's done it about 4 times now in the two months we've had it. The oven has no timers, so it wasn't that. I seriously thought the unit was shorted out and needed to be returned. After sending my question to Cuisinart, I just happened to look on here and noticed that other's had the same "problem" - with explanation thankfully. It appears that the toaster function must be turned to the off position once completed, or it will buzz at some random moment in the future.

Other problem is that it REALLY heats unevenly, whether the rack is not positioned correctly, or if the burners don't function like they should.

Without a doubt, the $25 dirty, white, Black & Decker oven we had before this worked much better..

Can we work with this one????? Yea, but we'll have to learn how to finesse it......
