Daddy Day Camp Is Open For Business

=Plot=
Charlie Hinton and his pal Phil are fired from their executive jobs and feel horrible when they see their wives going to work everyday while they sit at home. So they come up with an idea to babysit kids because that's what they do all day long anyway with their own children. They start Daddy Day Care and earn enough money to keep their wives satisfied and they have enough left over to pay bills and keep their children enrolled at the Chapman Academy whose headmistress, Mrs. Harridan gets wise to their plan to babysit kids and tries to shut them down because they are close to running her out of business.

=Actors/Actresses=
Eddie Murphy once again shows why he's picked to play these funny parts and he gives laughs galore as Charlie Hinton. His pal Phil is played by Jeff Garlin and Charlie and Jeff give off one great performance as a pair of out of work dads. I also liked the way Steve Zahn acted out his part as Marvin and I think Eddie Murphy and Steve Zahn had the funniest parts in the movie. Regina King plays Eddie Murphy's wife and she nags sometimes but I think her acting is in the same league as Eddie Murphy's and she and Eddie keep the laughs coming as their house is overrun with children from all over the neighborhood. Angelica Houston plays the evil Mrs. Harridan and she is perfect as the bad guy (or girl, if you want to be specific). I love how she competes with Eddie Murphy and Jeff Garlin and I think it's amazing how she can show no emotion in her acting but still be great.

=Special Effects=
The special effects were pretty much kids making a mess and I think that's one of the appeals of this movie. The children all had a good time making a mess, I'm sure and I like the way the special effects team made the house go from clean and neat to dirty and messy in a matter of a few scenes. I also like the way the children all take advantage of Steve Zahn when no one else is around and I think they did a good job making it seem like the kids had poop in their pants and making it seem messy.

=My Opinion=
My opinion is that Eddie Murphy and Steve Zahn make this movie one to definitely see and I like the way all of the actors keep the laughs and chuckles coming nonstop. The chemistry between Regina King and Eddie Murphy could've been a little more realistic, though, and I think Jeff Garlin could have been more energetic and enthusiastic about his role even if he was funny.
