Denon DHT-588BA Theater System

I bought this system at Sears which began as a nightmare because there support tech service is run buy a bunch of idiots that don't know what there talking about.The manual is not very informative and the the system is hard to connect if you use it.But once I got it installed the system was great. I almost bought a Sony but glad I didn't.Most systems I looked at for this price had a more tin sound and not much volume but this Denon shook my house.The sound quality is almost as good as the Bose system at he cinema.The speakers are just the right size .Not to small and not to big. Overall this system is awesome.Same sound as the higher end Denon but not all the bells and whistles.If you looking for looking for a mid range system and not a first time system this is the perfect choice. Don't wast your money on a $200 system for a couple hundred more you won't be disappointed. Also shop around because I paid $699 but found it cheaper at $499 and sears paid me back the $200 plus 20% I would rate Denon second to Bose. But do recommend the Phillps SRU8112 Universal remote to tie in all your components for easy operation
