Author's Review
Decked out in hair ribbons, leggings, and a million-plus pair of stolen earrings, Madonna is Susan, the eccentric downtown girl playing unbelievably hard-to-get with her boyfriend Jim.
Jim tries to find Susan all the time by placing personal ads for her; when she's around and deigns to read them, they hook up for a few moments of passion before one of them has to go again.
They don't think anyone else could possibly know what they're doing, but someone does-Rosanna Arquette, a bored housewife named Roberta, who becomes fascinated by the romance and wackiness of their relationship. She decides she absolutely HAS to see Susan, so she checks the paper for a meeting place nad scopes it out until Susan and Jim show up.
A friend of Jim's is there to keep Susan away from the mob men who are chasing her, but when Robrta suffers a knock on the head, he runs up thinking SHE'S Susan, and soon everyone else thinks so too.
They have fun on the town until there's a final showdown in a nightclub, and EVERYONE gets the girl!
