Quad Cab

The Bottom Line: Compare this vehicle to all others you were considering, before deciding which one to buy; I think you'll return to your dealership to get another view
The overall truck is a nice package for the dollar. 4 doors is a great addittion whether you have a family or not. I use practically every inch of this vehicle for all my crap. I opted for the Infinity sound system, I probably would have saved about $600 dollars by buying my stereo and all out right in the aftermarket. About the only thing I don't like about this truck is the no rear air, no dvd option, and the poor gas mileage. The gas isn't really that bad for a truck, but I think most everyone would prefer to squeeze out another 5 MPG and some more horsepower. I have the 3.9; it's not a bad engine but I've seen better. As for the over all performance it is great. My Quad Cab has a better turning radius better than most of the other trucks comparible in size. If the quad cab is on your maybe list, then I would give it a second look before saying no. Although the 2004 Toyota Tundra 4 door comes with a lot of the bells and whistels that I was hoping to be available in this truck. But like I said, "I'm happy with my Dakota Quad, and I haven't met anyone who says otherwise". Good Luck, and happy shopping.
