Good buy for the money

I purchased this unit because of cost. I needed to copy some old videos and also wanted to record from the TV. ( After all, a DVD player mostly requires a rented or purchased disk.) It has done the job and I agree with other reviewers that it probably doesn't perform as a much higher priced unit would. BUT, you aren't paying the big bucks. I think it is just fine for the dollars spent.

Cost. Works for what I need and picture/sound is fine.
Cons
A few bugs and the instructions are, well, just OK.
