Author's Review
We have a 6-month old baby and 3 cats at home, and hardwood floors or linoleum in all the living areas of the house. Even though we only have a one-story house, dragging the big vacuum out all the time was a huge hassle, but the dust bunnies that collected on the wood floors were getting to me.
I was a little hesitant to get this because of the price, but I am so glad that we did. It's terrific on hardwood floors, linoleum or vinyl, tile, and flat-weave rugs. It will vacuum carpet also, but doesn't do nearly as good of a job.
It is lightweight and maneuverable, has good suction, easy to clean, and the charge lasts plenty long enough for me to vacuum all areas I need to. I intended to use this predominantly as a touch-up vacuum, but touching-up is so easy with this, I've found I don't need to vacuum with the big machine any more!
It picks up grass, cat hair, human hair, kitty litter, and dust bunnies very well. It gets pieces of cat food and glass as well, and it doesn't seem to have too much of a problem with damp areas either, although I wouldn't use it on any areas that are truly soaked.
The dustbuster piece is handy also. It works better than any other handheld vac I've tried before, and fills the role of attachments on another machine.
