Great print quality

The Epson 260

Epson does a great job with their printers so I figured when I needed to replace my Epson 2200, I would spend less money, but stick with a great brand and purchase the 260. The design of the Epson 260 is similar to the 2200.  They are both great performing printers and the 260 is fairly light.

The Toner Inks are Expensive 
The only drawback is the cost for the toner ink.  You can end up paying more in ink than you do for the actual printer.  I am not sure how to get around that since I have a high-regard for Epson products and have tried other brands which just don't provide the same print quality.  I use the printer to print photos and for general work documents.

Toner Replacement and Alerts 
The toner cartridges are easy to take out and replace.  You will receive an alert on screen which identifies which color or colors are getting low so you have time to buy a new one.

Great Color  
The color quality is vibrant and the unit is small which is perfect when you don't have a lot of desk space to allocate for a printer.   I would recommend this printer based on quality, but you will have to decide about the cost of the ink which I have to change all of the time.

Printer can Print on Different Paper Types
The printer also responds well to different types of print papers (e.g., glossy, matte, semi-gloss, etc.)

Overall
I think it is a great value for the price and it is easy to operate.
