Eureka 4700 Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuum

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vacuum to anyone who has area rugs - not plush carpet, and a second vacuum to clean the filter. For the price it can't be beat.

You will NOT save money on this one

Review: Even right out of the box, the suction is horrible, the attachments fall off every time you move the vacuum and the hose constantly comes out of the holder. I thought I would try to save money but it is going RIGHT BACK to Walmart.....

Small price, Big performance

Review: I have had several more expensive upright vacuums in the $200 price range that did a worst job than this one. No bells or whistles, just good pick up and very light weight. I even got it for only $50 because Kohls had them for half off!

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this vacuum. I would have dealt with some of the bad features (like the cord) if it weren't so messy.
Review: I bought this vacuum in July of 2006 from Kmart and it died in June of 2007. On the bright side, I bought a replacement plan from Kmart and they are giving me a full refund. I'm pretty inconsistent with my vacuuming, so I used it MAYBE 3 or 4 times...

Worst Vacuum I've ever used

The Bottom Line: I would not recommend buying this vacuum. It is very frustrating to use for so many reasons!
Review: There are a few good qualities about this vacuum and SEVERAL bad ones. It is cheap, lightweight, and it fits in the space between the sink and the toilet so it is narrower than our other vacuum. Here are the negatives:

The Bottom Line: Lot's of suction for little mojo. It's like Jack's Beans on Jack and the Beanstalk. What a find.
Review: I'm not a fan of vacuuming. Understandably we all have to do it though. I have three young kids and the vacuum is oddly enough a point of interest. I bought this Eureka as a replacement to a more expensive model that somehow got milk into the motor...

Eureka 4711AZ: Cheap but Potent Cleaning Power

The Bottom Line: I would recommend the 4711AZ to those looking for a decent inexpensive bagless upright unit. It works well, but for a little more you can do better.
Review: Epinions only had the 4700A model listed for Eureka Maxima upright vacuum...what can you expect though, manufacturers are notorious for changing model numbers for every little modification they make to a product! Anyway this review is for the Eureka...
