You can't know the looks and build quality of this fan. Absolutely in a class by itself. Stylish, quiet -- a real show stopper. What you can knock, however, is the performance. At this price, I envisaged a small wind tunnel. The truth is I get far better -- and I mean FAR better -- air movement from $30 fans I can get at Wal-Mart. We keep it around for looks (it's a beautiful piece of furniture) but when it gets hot, it gets unplugged and replaced by our $29 Haier.
