The Bottom Line: Shel Silverstein left hundred of incredible poems, many of which contained within the cover of Falling Up. Do something good for yourself and your kids. Pick up this book.

Review: Even as a child, I tended to appreciate on the whole darkly funny and usually twisted stories and poetry. The darker, the scarier the work, the happier I was in the end.

Pros: This one cracks the whole family up.
Cons: Some families might think some of these are in poor taste.
The Bottom Line: This is the only book of poems that I keep on our shelves. Although it is for kids, it makes me belly laugh too.
