award winning pics..feel like a pro
Date of Review: Oct 4, 2007
The Bottom Line: I love this camera, never taken a class in my life- but this camera lets simpletons like me enjoy.. and pros
This has options.. omg sooo many options. The more I started to learn, the more scared I got.. adjusting speed.. I dunno how to do that. But, the good news is if you know how to do that.. it allows you to adjust that. If you don't, like me, you can still take great pics without the know-how. So I looked at it as a camera with room to grow. They have tried to make this camera as user friendly as they can. I truly believe that. The macro setting has a tulip.. I use that for my close floral pics. Amazing colors & details. I go to the park and play with the dial; snap, snap, look at results, snap, adjust. It's very easy to take a great picture when you can set it for large. Put those on your computer.. with a quick plug in to the pc.. and wow.. you will want every pic as your screensaver/desktop background. I swear I feel/look like a pro.
One key selling point for me- the ability to take quick pictures one after another. My kid runs.. I can take 2 or 3 pics of one sprint. Really fast. That's why I HATED my kodak. My intention was for spontanious pics.. and this lets me do it. I did buy a how to dvd which made me feel silly.. but explained things in more depth in a way I needed.I also am very glad I bought additional memory right away.
Some people said this is light.. I disagree, it is bulky compared to my previous experience with point & shoot cameras. A lotta money went into this camera, but I feel it proves its value everytime I go to my computer to share a pic. This is an investment - enjoy & spoil yourself.
