Fendi reminds me of Grateful Dead Concerts

Hate to say it, but this Eau De Toilette Spray is incredibly reminiscent of the Patchoulie oil we used to wear..which to me smells like dirty hippy. I was very disappointed in the scent and surprised that it came from Fendi. They say that it contains bergamot, rosewood, lily of the valley, moss, vanilla and musk. I guess for me the overpowering scent was musk. Patchoulie is used as a conditioner for dreadlocks and frequently a favorite scent of incense, which must be why the scent brings to mind the 60's and 70's seasons of love. I could be mistaken, and this is completely my opinion, but I feel like Fendi missed the boat when this fragrance came out in 1985 and they would have done better to shoot for a 1965 release date. I was never partial to the natural, musky scented products anyway, but I would not recommend this eau de toilette to anyone who shares my opinion on this. If, however, you are looking to relive Woodstock in a slightly better-smelling manner, then I say, go for it! Personally, I prefer a more floral scent, but it might be just the ticket for others.

Suffice it to say, perfumes and eau de toilette sprays are a personal preference, this one is not for me, but for someone who prefers the more woodsy spicy scents, it may be for them. For those who enjoy that type of scent, this product does last all day long so one bottle will go a long way.
