Didn't work for us

I'm not sure if we had a faulty model, or it was just a cheapy monitor. The static interference on the monitor is terrible, and drives me crazy, every night I go to bed ready to throw it out of the window (and vow that I will buy a new one the next day) It doesn't help if you change the channel. My husband has even attempted to make a second antenna and attached it to the monitor, then pinned it to the wall - need I say, it didn't work. I was/am tempted to phone Fisher Price and ask them what the deal is, but I'm not sure if I will resolve the issue, as I have been using it for 10 months. When our next child is born, we will invest in a new one (after reading some reviews on good ones, that work)Think twice when buying this model - it didn't work for us! Actually I have been known to turn the monitor off in my sleep as it must be driving me crazy in dream land.... In fact this monitor can make you more sleep deprived than a new born baby.
