He loves it at 5 months!

What Sold me at the store:
I was on a mission once baby hit 31/2 months, I needed to be able to put a load of laundry, send an email etc sans baby on the hip! So I decided it was time for the bouncer.
I went to Target and scanned the shelves, having already had 2 children I was aware of some things 1. It does NOT need to be fancy 2. You will only need it for 3 months MAX 3. They end up hating any and all toys attached to it they once loved/discovered. 4. It MUST be easily removed for washing purposes.
This means I gave the papasan but one glance!
This one caught my eye with the adaptable toddler chair feature!! Why? Because this means I will be spending my money on not one use but 2!
Home Some Assembly Required
I got home and usually a job I assign to my hubby I decided to take on myself. I looked at the assembly pamphlet and was confident I could assemble. The little plastic wraps they put all over it was a little annoying but I can't complain, this all took maybe less than 10 minutes.
Baby's First Attempt
Baby was almost 4 months old therefore he wants nothing but his parents :) He lasted from months 3.5 to 4 for a good 5-10 minutes and then whimpers began, it was enough time to do as I said put a load of something in somewhere with him very close by. The chair is oh so lightweight to tote around. It rocks (parent guided) and you can kick up the stand to keep in place, as far as the rocking not even the baby can barely rock it with all their kicking so as I said (parent guided)
Fast Forward to 5 months old
At this point I have incorporated the toy bar and he has his love hate moments with it but overall he just rips them off individually. (The toys hang from velcro strips and are easily detachable.) The black and white bar comes off easily I didn't bring it in until about 3 weeks ago as baby had no interest or ability to investigate them at that age. You can easily wash the 2 plastic one but the cloth one that makes a song when you tug it, in my opinion isn't recommended for machine washing maybe just some spot cleaning.
The first machine wash
Well, it had to happen sometime..PUKE, Vomit, Throw Up Spit Up Whatever you want to call it...IT HAPPENS :) So when baby left his mark on the new bouncer I was prepared to see how this thing would do. Basically you;ve got some velcro, some plastic straps..and a piece of panel wood that you have to manuever in order to free the actual cover. The piece of paneling is the little hard "seat" when you take the cover off this "seat" will kind of dangle there, leaving you with the frame. It's off to the wash machine you go, pop it in under a small/warm/gentle cycle. I wash this cover weekly along with the babyswing cover as well. It cleans so easily any stain anything it's great, and its color still remains vibrant after many washes, it goes on easier each time you have done it more your used to all the straps and wood etc!

It's a GREAT bouncer it's a fair price for 2 uses I have no review thus far for the bouncer to toddler chair but as a baby bouncer it's the best I have purchased.You will watch in awe as your litte infant begins discovering the objects around them, from a blank stare to an all out frustrated cry when one of his little toys is unreachable, to the curious face when putting together the tug=music connection.Just remember:
