2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer - my best vehicle yet

I looked around for a 2002-2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4.6L V8 because we are buying a travel trailer and want the power of a V8 - great timing we have with the gas crisis happening right now but oh well. This vehicle was in good condition when I bought it used and I've done some body work, new windshield and got the driver's seat fixed (it had that annoying movement upon acceleration or braking). It needed tires when I was looking at it to buy so the dealer threw in 4 Michelin LTX m/s tires at no charge. This is my favourite vehicle that I've ever owned and I've had about 12 different cars over about 25 years. It has all the room and cargo capacity that we could want, tow package for the trailer along with the necessary power, and all the bells and whistles you could imagine. Some of the options on it I had to read the manual to figure out how to use! It's a dream to drive now that the seat is fixed and the gas mileage keeps getting better as I drive it (must be my easy touch on the gas pedal!) All in all it's a fun vehicle to drive and when you want it to get up and go, it goes! Not lacking at all in the power department!
