Poor after warranty

We bought this washer over a year ago. The honeymoon is over.
It was great at first, especially compared to our old top loader.

But now, after a year and a half, it give us lots of problems. It leaks, from the detergent drawer. The rubber gasket at the front door holds water, and grows black mold and stinks! Nothing we or the service man can do to prevent it. The service man says this is a common problem with these Frigidaire front loaders.

They cannot fix the leak- sometimes it leaks, then it doesn't. Also, they said not to use liquid fabric softener any more, because it gums up the flow of water through the detergent drawer.

All the money we have spent on service calls is more than we save with this model on energy and less water.
