After looking at every possible review, my husband and I chose this machine and matching dryer. We already owned a Frigidaire front loading washer and never had any problems with it. So we stuck with what we knew.
Our new washer is WONDERFUL. I read in Consumer Reports that it doesn't get clothes as clean as other machines. My husband and I totally disagree. Our clothes come out very clean. We work in a restaurant and frequently have grease, tomato sauce, pickled beet juice, etc, on our clothes, and EVERYTHING comes out!!
I love the controls of the machine...IT IS SO EASY TO USE!!! It has a hand wash cycle which my husband loves, since he does all the sweaters and delicates!! The controls are push buttons for the wash cycles of hot/hot, hot/warm, warm/cold, etc. So you simply pick your temperatures. Then simply pick the type of load you are doing...towels, heavy soil, normal, hand wash, etc. It is that easy. You can also PAUSE during a cycle (same with dryer). The time for the cycle will appear in the display, so you know how long each cycle will take. There is also an alarm to let you know when the cycle is done; however, the alarm is on the quiet side, so if you are on another level in the house, you may not hear it.
It also looks great! We purchased the stands underneath and are very happy we did. They raise the machines to a nice level. I really enjoy doing wash now!
Oh yes, one drawback...water tends to stay in the soap and bleach dispenser. You must pull the drawer out and empty it in a sink, before putting detergent in. You do not have to do this every time, but I would say more often than not. This is extremely easy to do BECAUSE our sink is right next to the machine. HOWEVER, if you don't have a sink close by, it might be a pain. That is something the designers should work on fixing.
My husband and I feel when you compare other brands and their cost...this was a great value!!

It's been almost a year AND WE STILL LOVE THIS WASHER AND DRYER!!!! AWESOME!!!
