Author's Review

This is my second repair call on this freezer. The repair man has been waiting for a repair kit since Aug 1 to correct a door edge design problem that prevents the gasket from sealing at the corners properly. The interior of the door gets frosted as a result.
This is already a flag that future problems may be looming. (Purchased in May 08)
The parts supply response from Frigidaire is extremley poor, especially for a freezer. Imagine if a critical part was needed and I had a box full of valuable food items, (Fish, meat, Ice Cream etc. ) We have a great repairman but without parts there is nothing that can be done.

I have requested an exchange from Figidaire/Electrolux for a similar unit.
I would not recommend a Frigidaire product, Your requests for service are handeled by way of the Philippines, so go figure..
Spend a little more money and study all of the reviews. They are usually right on..
