Washes well, but don't like: Racks, sound, or silverware tray
Pros:
Cleans Well. Delay start options. Quick rinse cycle, low rinse aid light warning.
Cons:
Difficulties placing odd shaped dishes. Not as "quiet" as expected, rinse aid window deceiving.
The Bottom Line:
There are enough things I'm unhappy with that makes me wish I spent more money for quieter model, and one that handled our shaped dishes better. Recommend for price range.

Author's Review
I got this dishwasher after I narrowed it down between this one and a whirlpool. The whirlpool we considered got several bad reviews about motors dying early so we went with this one. I've only done 4 loads so far. Each time I've gotten very frustrated trying to configure the dishes. We only have 3 people in our family, so I didn't think this would be such a difficult chore! I think because we use rounded scooped style plates that aren't like the typical flat ones, that it greatly changes our options. Even with the flexible tines option that doesn't seem to help because putting them down doesn't hold them at all. I can place them on the top which I've not been able to do on my previous dishwasher, but that's where I've been putting all my plastic (tons of cups from my 6 yr. old) so that's valuable real estate.
2. Other complaint is the sound. The manual (which I needed to download from the manufacturer's website-because only a condensed version came with it - and FYI Condensed version doesn't have any info about placing dishes, or any times/wash cycle instructions etc. so it's helpful to download for sure!) and it states: "This dishwasher does not sound like most dishwashers - IT'S QUIETER." Well, I hear it just fine. Compared to our previous one, it is better, but we live in an open floor plan and I can still hear it during many parts in the next room...bummed about that.
3. Other complaint: The silverware tray. It's big and generous and comes apart, but it's so big I never need all that. If I move it around or take it apart it feels like it will move about freely. Because of our difficulties with plate set up, it's even harder to find a home for it!
4. Rinse aid window has a dot that is supposed to assist you to know as you're filling, when to stop. But it's impossible to tell The dot showed a half second after filling so I know it wasn't full, but it never changed and I ended up overfilling it. I tried calling customer service to inquire what exactly I'm looking for, but the number in the book is not active. I've checked the website and same numbers are offered. I've been unable to find out how to contact a live person to ask about this. But the good side is, that there is a "low rinse aid" warning light so at least I'll know from that since I can't tell from the dot.
