Horrible product from a horrible company
Pros:
The design is clean and attractive.
Cons:
Huge problems among dozens of users and an unforgivable corporate response.
The Bottom Line:
Apparently this is the unit to buy if you want your house to burn down or get flooded,or if you like being totally ignored by the manufacturer.

Author's Review
Normally I don't invest time writing letters of complaint about a product. Typically, I don't have to because most companies today remedy complaints quickly and equitably. However, this is an exceptional case. This piece of junk caught on fire when it wasn't even running a cycle. Fortunately, my wife and I stopped by our house before going out to dinner with friends. Otherwise, we would have had a major fire. I went to the web to find a service center and found that almost nobody wants to touch anything made by Frigidaire - and I found dozens of reviews from people saying their Frigidaire appliances are junk and Frigidaire has a horrible reputation when it comes to their consumer response record.
I found that hard to believe, so I contacted Frigidaire as I normally would. No response. So I contacted them again and again and again - four times in total. Sure enough, I have yet to hear a peep from them. I set the unit on the curb for the trash collectors. Too bad it was only 9 months old. Our Frigidaire gas range is also defective. Our new Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's was returned in the first 90 days and replaced with a GE Profile. Lowe's was great, so no interaction with Frigidaire was needed.
Based on all that I have experienced coupled with what I have seen on the Internet from others, this is another sad example of a great company that has completely lost it. My best recommendation is before buying a Frigidaire dishwasher, get a dog to lick your dishes clean. Before getting a Frigidaire gas range, build a campfire in your kitchen. Before buying a Frigidaire refrigerator, wait for winter and set your perishables on the patio. By all means, do not buy a Frigidaire pacemaker or smoke detector if they ever come out with one.
In 35 years as an adult consumer of large appliances, I've never seen a more inferior line of products nor a more pathetic company.
