Author's Review
I bought this camera about a year ago in late Winter of 2005. I was upgrading from a previous FujiFilm model, which was 2.0 megapixels.
The camera takes nice pictures and the overall usage is not too tough. It comes with a 16mb XD Picture-Card, but I immediately purchased a 128mb card. The battery-life is okay, but I don't really see anything too negative about this camera.
I also really like that you can plug this camera into your TV and watch your videos/view your pictures.
With 4-megapixels and 3x Optical Zoom, it's great for just about any casual photographer and even for those enthusiasts. Will it give you professional photos at a very large size? No, but it should suit most needs and is still worth the price, more than a year after it came out.
The only things that I can think of are the video mode and the light-sensitivity.
The camera can take video clips, but the quality is not great and there is NO audio.
As for lighting, the flash is OK, but under dim conditions, you won't get the best pictures.
I paid about $150 for it and it was worth it. A year later, it is still a great camera.
Also for one note, I have dropped it hard a few times and it works fine, so it is definitely durable.
