small and easy

I bought this camera as a birthday gift for my mom. She was very happy when she got it. It is very slim and thus easy and comfortable to hold, so it is very good for women to use it. My mom is not very good at using complex electronics so when I started looking I was trying to find one that was easy to use and do not have many complex functions. Plus this camera has not bad picture quality and a bright screen. It is a good piece for a starter. What I do not like about it is that after I opened the package I received and started trying, it did not work immediately. I could not figure out the reason and was very worried for a while. I kept trying and almost gave up and picked up my phone to call the customer service. Fortunately at the final shot it started to work. I guess it was because of the slow charging of power from battery to the camera that caused this problem. The problem did not come up any more after the first use. Another problem is that the flash seems to use more than usual battery. But if you do not use flash it last long enough before you change batteries. As always I would suggest one use rechargeable batteries
