Pros: 4 MP, 6x optical zoom, xD memory card, and under $250, what's not to like

The S3100 is a camera with great starting features on a progressive memory format that can be upgraded with new lenses for extra performance. It's great for taking pictures of moving and stationary things with great picture quality. The price is so low I had to check to make sure it wasn't a typo $201-$299 is extremely affordable.
