It's Going Back to the Store

Bought 2 base units and 4 expansion handsets from Office Depot. Only the handsets that came with the base units will register. I tried disconnecting the second base unit, taking the first base unit to the furthest place from a computer and any other electric/electronic interference source, but still couldn't register the expansion handsets. This renders the phone system useless to my home office needs, so I am returning it and will not likely purchase a GE cordless phone in the future.
