Product Review

Runs very hot and smells like burning plastic.

by   omtem ,   Aug 26, 2007

Pros:  Small size although it needs a lot of room around it to prevent overheating.

Cons:  Overheats and smells bad (burning plastic).

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

We bought this microwave oven for its compact size. As soon as we tried it we noticed that the outside of the unit was getting burning hot to the touch; nevertheless we decided to keep it but to leave enough room for good air circulation around it. After using it for about 2 months the "new" plastic smell still persists and seems to even get stronger. For health reasons (carcinogenic plastic fumes) and after reading sudarshan73 ,Jun 30 '07 comments, we decided to discard it to avoid a possible fire.
