The Bottom Line: I've had 4 different GPS systems and after looking at the market the Nuvi 750 is a great buy and the best bang for your buck right now.

The Bottom Line: A nice solid unit that I know you would like. I've already recommended it to several friends who like it as much as I do.

Not having had a GPS before, I am unable to compare this to another unit. However, I have used an HP Travel Companion a few times so I was familiar with how GPSs worked in general prior to purchasing this unit.

Quirky But Good

The Bottom Line: I recommend this unit based on its consistent quality performance and rugged durability.
Review: The Garmin NUVI 750 is not one of the newest units offered by the GPS-market leader. I have it piano black although, I believe, it comes in other colors as well. Overall, it's a solid performer but it does have its drawbacks.

The Bottom Line: For the money, a portable GPS is more cost-effective than a Factory installed unit, it can be updated, and it is accurate.

Review: The only difference that I could see between the Garmin Nuvi 760 and the 750 is that the 750 lacks bluetooth capabilities. At the time I bought, a week ago, the difference was about $100.
