Id buy two more.
Pros:
Build Quality, reliability, engine and transmission have never had a problem.
Cons:
The cup holder wont stay shut.
The Bottom Line:
I'd never reccomend this car to anyone, because if I find another one i'm going to buy it. I'm kidding, it's a great car.

Author's Review
I have never been so impressed by an economy car in my life. I was looking for a cheap daily driver, because I had already had my project car, so I went on EBAY not looking for anything specific, and I found a 96 5 speed with 115,000 miles for $1400. I figured that if I got 6 months of driving out of it, I got my money worth. It was the bottom of the barrel, manual locks, manual windows, manual transmission.
Like any mid 20's person, the first thing that had to go was the radio. I drove from central Pennsylvania to Central Indiana, with the stock stereo, and couldnt stand it. Now it may be fine for most people, but I NEED a great radio.
3 years, 75,000 miles later, I've replaced the battery (my own fault) and starter solenoid.
So that alone might not impress people, but i'm extremely hard on cars. I like to drive, and I like to see what my car can do. In 4 years, I went through: 2 transmissions, 3 motors, 7 sets of tires in my 1993 Ford Probe GT. (Which is an expensive car to own, and I would never reccommend it to anyone)
This is an absolutely solid car. I am still in awe with it. I didnt do any performance upgrades on it for the first 20,000 miles, because I thought it was going to be a waste, but the day before I did anything to it, I took it to the track.
1/4m in 17.3... *extremely slow, but i looked up the stock 1/4 mile time on this car, and was shocked.. its 17.4! 145,000 miles and still runs a 17.3!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
That alone tells you of the build quality.
The only complaint that I have with it, is the cupholder. I have tried for the last 3 years to get the cupholder to stay locked in place, it will not do so. I had too take it apart, and hot glue it shut.
My father was looking for a new car a year after I bought this. He commutes 50 miles a day, and wanted a fuel effecient reliable car. I convinced him to purchase a 1995 prizm (in 2003). He found a low milage automatic for relatively cheap. The car now has 225,000 miles on it, and the only problem he has had, was a broken steel wheel. (But you can expect that when you drive up onto a curb at 40mph).
I also recommended this car to my brothers girlfriend. She was going to college, he was in grad school. She bought a 1996 prizm automatic in 2003, and after graduating, she still drives this car daily. My brother however, is looking into a 2005 Porsche Twin Turbo and I don't think i can convince him too even look at a prizm. They live outside of DC, and are in stop and go traffic.
So this is a great car, id reccommend it to anyone, and I have.
