Glamour magazine is a great magazine for youthful women everywhere. It is appealing to women of many ages, races, styles, and incomes. I love it because it has so much variety in every issue. Unlike some of the other popular magazines; Glamour doesnt focus on ONLY sex! It focuses on sex, family, careers, fashion, make up, clothing, hair, world issues, illnesses, men, celebrities, and all around female empowerment.
I used to read Cosmo religiously but I feel like I am too grown up for that now. Cosmo was such of a "stupid girl" magazine. Glamour is the perfect magazine if you want a little more substance.
They're 'dos and donts' are hilarious! They take pictures of random people on the streets and sometimes celebs in really horrific outfits. They are considered donts!
It does have a lot of ads but no more than any other magazine.
It does a great feature interview every issue with a current celebrity which is great. They also don't do celebrity overkill.
I look forward to getting my issue every month. It is my favorite "girly" magazine. I have subscriptions to 8 different magazines and my Glamour is by far my favorite one of all. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a womans magazine!
Even my mom AND my grandma like this magazine! That is 3 generations of females who feel connected to one magazine! Not many others can say that.
