My favorite magazine- Glamour

I love Glamour magazine. There are always awesome articles in Glamour. Each month somebody really cool is on the cover, someone that I really would like to know more about. I think their covers are pretty tasteful as well. Although magazine covers these days seem to get pretty borderline distasteful at times, I cannot recall too many Glamour covers that stood out at the check-out counter and made me wonder if they should be in one of those plastic bags with those three X's at the top. Can't say that about a lot of magazines on the market.

I always find great articles in Glamour. You get a lot of good fashion and beauty information in Glamour, as well as health issues and real life stuff too. There is usually an article about a "real" person (not that celebrities aren't real people too, but you know what I mean) that has gone through some life-altering situation and they share their inspirational story. Plus there are a lot of really great one-pagers, those short stories or lists that I usually cut out to send to my best friend so she can enjoy them as much as I did. You find a fair amount of advertising in Glamour, but every single page is not some ad...there are lots of articles to read and enjoy and often fun quizzes. You can get a lot of information about events taking place in your state or town also.

Overall, I love this magazine and probably always will. A subscription to Glamour makes an awesome gift for any girl or woman regardless of age, although it's probably best suited for the 20's to 30's age range.
