Really Really Good Game
Date of Review: Apr 6, 2000
Well, I'm sure that if you own a nintendo 64 you've heard of goldeneye, and probably played it. If you haven't though, I would strongly recomend it. Lets start out with the single player mode. There are 14 normal levels, and 2 secret. Each is full of weapons, secrets, objectives, and plenty of evil Russians to kill. The weapons are really cool, the graphics and character animations are amazing, and the levels are well-thought-out and detailed. I spent monthes and monthes trying to beat the game on the three difficulty levels, and I still play the single player mode. Also, unlike most games you have to earn the cheats rather than get them off the internet or a strategy guide. You earn cheats by completing levels at a certian difficulty level in a certian amount of time. Now we move to where GoldenEye truly shines. The Multiplayer mode. In this up to 4 players can compete for kills, a flag, or other junk. Oh boy I wont even try to sum up how awesome this is. So rent, or even better, buy the game yourself and check it out.
