Very, very happy

I purchased the S350 after returning a previously purchased Grundig G2000A and am I ever glad I switched. The S350 is what the G2000A is not: a great radio for someone who, like myself, is just getting into listening to shortwave. Its sensitivity is fantastic (I live in Maine by the way) and is limited only by the time of day you tune in (nothing unusual from what I've read). I bought one of those spool-type antennas anticipating having the same poor reception as I did with the G2000A, but have yet to find that I need to use it. The speaker has very good sound (unlike the G2000A, which is 'tinny')and I realized that having a dial tuner is a big advantage compared to using buttons. I highly recommend a dial for anyone just getting into shortwave, it's so much easier to cruise the airwaves. I'd recommend this radio to anyone.
