Stay Away!

We bought the Haier ESD302 Dishwasher based on it's good looks and features. One of those features came back to bite us. The adjustable top shelf has plastic adjusters. They broke within 9 months of owning this product and the pieces lodged in the motor.

We had an authorized service company look at it to say it should not be used until the new parts arrive. This was on 5/17/08. As of today, 7/31/08, one of those parts has still not arrived. We have been in contact with Haier several times. The first 2 people both said they would try to get the part and, if not possible, the dishwasher would be replaced. When neither ever got back to us, we just called again to start with a new customer service agent who just repeated the same story and said to wait another 5 business days.

We seriously doubt they are making any attempt to assist us. We will never buy another Haier product.
