Don't believe the hype

The Bottom Line: Fun but not special, nothing too new, not a masterpiece. Buy for the multiplayer, rent a couple of times for the single.
Review: though I am far from admitting that Halo is some sort of classic, I've got to congratulate Bungie. After consitently making good games that got little attention (such as Myth) they finally got their big break and made the "Killer Ap""Must Have" game...

Halo has good multiplayer, but bad single player

The Bottom Line: If your looking for good mulitplayer buy Halo, otherwise avoid it.
Review: It seems to me that everybody loves Halo, there are tons of halo fan boys and I just don t see why everybody loves this game because it is really boring and repetitive. It just is really boring in the one player mode to do pretty much the same thing...

Pure carnage

The Bottom Line: HALO is a must buy for every XBOX owner, regardless if they like shooters or not. Action, depth, gameplay and graphics are all well above par.
Review: I purchased HALO much against my typical aversion to first-person shooters, but was quite surprised at this enormously addicting game. I fired this bad boy up on my Xbox at 2pm and was up until 3 am screaming obscenities at the alien targets..LOL...
