Nobody's Perfect.....
Pros:
Catchy Choruses Good Pop Sound
Cons:
Lack of vocal range, self-written material, and repetition.
The Bottom Line:
I personally do not really like the CD, but I think if you are a fan of pop this might be good for you, especially if you are 8-13.

Author's Review
The formula that started in the mid-nineties has been passed down from diva to diva until it finally reached the young Miley Cyrus herself. You pretty much watch them grow up:.
They star on a hit TV show.
They begin letting out CD's appealing to young audiences.
Fame begins fading.
The trouble starts.
It has happened with numerous pop stars including that of: Madonna, Brittney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and now you can see it with Miley.
This CD is full of happy pop songs with catchy lyrics that motivate kids from the ages of 8-12, maybe 13. I'd have to say Miley has made quite a name of herself.
Starring as an everyday girl who goes to school(Miley Stewart), she then becomes teen pop sensation Hannah Montana when it's time to hit the stage. No one knows her real identity!
This CD is based off songs played on the show, which is named Hannah Montana.
****Miley did not write any of these songs******
♥♥♥ The ()'s is what episode the song was featured on♥♥♥
1. Best of Both Worlds (Theme Song)
The Best of Both Worlds is a cute pop song that has a catchy chorus. It talks about being a superstar but still yet getting to "chill out". The song doesn't really go anywhere.
2. Who Said (Good Golly Ms. Dolly)
Who Said is about proving to the world that you can do anything you want. It inspires you to believe in yourself.
3. Just Like You (Miley Get Your Gum)
Just Like You is a song that, I believe, plays off of The Best of Both Words. It talks about being an ordinary girl deep down inside of her pop star self.
4. Pumpin Up the Party (She's A Super Sneak)
Pumpin Up the Party is one of the more annoying songs, in my opinion. The chorus repeats the same line in a very monotone way. BUT ANYWAY it's about getting into party mode.
5.If We Were A Movie (Good Golly Ms. Dolly)
If We Were A Movie is one of my favorites off of the CD. It's a cute little story talking about if she lived in a movie her crush would be "right guy" and she'd be "the best friend that you'd fall in love with". It's a cutesy song.
6. I Got Nerve (We Are Family: Now Get Me Some Water!)
I Got Nerve is a song that I'm not sure where it's going. It talks about.... To be honest I don't know. The verses are unrelated to the chorus, in my opinion.
7. The Other Side Of Me (I Can't Make You Love Hannah if You Don't)
The Other Side Of Me is another song about being two different people. The CD is repetitious.
8. This is The Life (Lilly, Do You Want to Know a Secret?)
This is The Life has a catchy chorus and it talks about having a nice life, but still learning as she goes.
The CD features four songs by other artists on it and also has a duet with Miley and her father(and co-star). Miley didn't write any songs on the CD and I think if you want your child to be able to write their own songs that this might not be the first choice because of the repetition and lack of self-written material. It has catchy choruses though so if your kid needs something to sing along to ;) check it out then.
