Get HBR if you are serious about staying on top

I buy this magazine:
1) to stay on top of current issues, trends and thoughts in business
2) to prepare for writing my applications to ivy league graduate business schools (shoot I shouldn't give away my edge like that)

I like this magazine in that the articles are written by authorities in business not by journalists who only know ABOUT something versus KNOWING something. I particularly enjoy the Harvard Business School case studies and reading about what current ivory tower thoughts there are on current issues in business, particularly information technology's role in changing business.

Other magazines that readers of HBR might enjoy is the Management Communication journal published by Harvard as well as the MIT Sloan School Management Review.
