Small, but just as good as a larger laser printer

The Bottom Line: Overall the printer is fast, quiet, and reliable. The output is very clear and sharp, and I've had only 1 problem with it (multiple feeds), which HP fixes for free.

Cheap, pretty reliable, good for home use

The Bottom Line: For average home use, I recommend the 6L if you can get a good deal on it. For heavy or above average use, find something newer and faster.
Review: Having read through the other reviews about the HP Laserjet 6L here on Epinions, I then noticed that it was only 54% recommended. I must be one of those 54%, because I do recommend this printer - with limitations.

Long, long, long-term review

The Bottom Line: Go for it. It's been a great printer as far as I'm concerned. It's one of the oldest pieces of electronics I still use on a daily basis.
Review: I bought this printer in 1997 for moderate-heavy use and have run somewhere between 30-40,000 sheets through it over its seven year life. So far, so good!

HP 6L A Great Small Business/ Home Printer

The Bottom Line: Great printer, great price. HP always seems to do it right. Crisp laser quality documents. Maintenance can be expensive, components are easily replaceable with HP service manual available on ebay!
