Author's Review
The HP LaserJet 6P is a good buy for many reasons. First and foremost, the laser quality printer prints with extreme clarity eliminating any fussy edges. Although it is black an white, it prints excellently in grayscale mode, and you don't have to worry about wet smearing ink or waiting for the paper to dry.
Secondly, the printer prints at a relatively good rate. At about 9 page per minute, you don't have to sit around and wait long at all.
Thirdly, the printer has two loading trays, one manual and the other automatic. This not only allows for multiple loading options, it also allows you to print envelopes.
However, there are negatives with everything. The only two negative features I could see were the toner cartridges and tray 1. The toner cartridges last a long time; however, the run about $99.00 a piece, which is quite expensive. Tray one occasionally jams, and sometimes the user must hit the override button to make the printer feed the paper from that tray.
Overall, the HP LaserJet 6P is a very good printer and I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for good quality, black and white printing.
