In my opinion, for the money, you can't beat these Hewlett Packard printers.
The thing that I like about it the most is the multiple ink cartridge system. Rather than having to replace the entire color tank every time you run low on one color, you replace each color separately. This saves a LOT of money in the long run, as you are not wasting ink. Each cartridge is about $9.00.
The quality of the printout is great- Not quite as good as when I have a photo lab print for me, but it is a lot more convenient to just do them at home sometimes! It is FAST, too- about 30 secs for a 4 x 6.
The separate 4x6 photo paper tray is nice, too- You can keep 'normal' 8.5 x 11 paper loaded in the lower tray, and photo paper in the upper, and switch back and forth without removing the paper.
It prints well on all the papers that I have tried, also.
As an added bonus, you can print directly from a memory card, using the little LCD screen on the printer to preview, crop, and make minor changes. You don't even need a computer to make prints this way!
