An exceptional LCD monitor at a reasonable price

I searched for a while to find a widescreen 20" LCD with clarity, color, and brightness. This HP W2007 monitor did not dissappoint in any respect. I have also seen it on sale for somewhat less than what I paid which makes it an even better deal.
The monitor has an attractive gloss black frame set into a silver tone rear case. Some may not like the space that is left around the frame thus appearing to fit improperly. I think it gives a modern design appearance. I have read elsewhere that the space is intended to accomodate other options.
Controls are nicely laid out on the front and intuitive. The on-off switch, located on top, includes an LED which is user adjustable to be on or not. Almost every aspect of this monitor may be set either through the hardware switch panel or the accompanying HP software. The HP bundled utilities are very useful and user friendly. The menu options and flexibility are impressive. As with many other monitors, the user has the option of using a VGA or DVI interface depending upon the computer capability. I have ued both and find the DVI interface noticably better. All-in-all I am extremely satisfied with this decision.
